This wine is composed of 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the rocky top of the superb Farina Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. The vineyard is exclusively east-facing and descends from about 1100 feet of altitude to 800 feet. The fruit for La Severità di Bruto comes only from the light, rocky soil at the top of the vineyard. This section of the vineyard has the best drainage and the least access to ground water; the vines struggle here and produce clusters that are very small, with tiny berries, explosive with flavor and very high acidity. The combination of eastern aspect and long-lasting morning fog guarantees high acidity; the sparse, dry soil guarantees the intensity.
Ripe stone fruits with fresh citrus zest, elegant minerality with a hint of toasted almond.
Medium-bodied, displaying rich aromas of citrus and green apple. Exhibits complex flavors of grapefruit and pineapple with a refreshing and lingering finish. Pairs wonderfully with roasted chicken, goat cheese and St. Peter's fish. Sourced from their Jerusalem vineyard on the outskirts of the city.
A blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Tempranillo, this drinks like a well-made Cotes du Rhone. Soft on the entry, Massaya Le Colombier offers juicy red berry fruit notes on the palate. The flavors linger for a surprisingly long time, enhanced by a good grip of tannins on the finish.
Vouni Panayia's Plakota is a blend of Maratheftiko and Ntopio Mavro. Maratheftiko is known as the most noble Cypriot varietal, producing rich wines with soft tannins and flavors of cherries and dark chocolate. Ntopio Mavro producers light red wines with lively red-fruit and floral notes. Blended together in Plakota, they produce a wonderfully concentrated, soft and round wine with flavors of cherry, raspberry, blackberry and plum with a persistent finish.

Full-bodied with flavors of blackcurrants, tobacco leaf, sweet oak and dark plum. This is an elegant and plush cabernet with soft but persistent tannins and great balance. Aged in heavily toasted French oak barrels for 23 months
The Chateau Musar White 2006 is an immensely appealing honey color with a nose and palate of orange blossom, honey, toasted bread, almonds and basil. A very well-balanced wine with good fresh lemon acidity and a long finish of citrus leaves, vanilla and honey. The style is reminiscent of a dry Sauternes or a mature white Graves: rich and intensely zesty, with very complex, long-lasting flavors.
Elegant and discrete, our Obeideh has a nose of white flowers, night-blooming jasmine and honeysuckle. The mouth is fresh and citrusy with hints of bitter almonds and honey."
This vintage is the fruit of grapevines exposed to optimal warmth during the day and breathing sea air at night, resulting in a Syrah true to its soil, dense and light at once with a lingering finish of fresh tannins. A very rich and complex wine with a strong and deep structure.
