Pouring a soft cloudy pink, this gose was brewed with close to 1lb of tart cherries per gallon. The cured sumac was sourced from a single farm in Gaziantep, Turkey and adds tasting notes of sour cherry, salt & vinegar and sunny acidity. This classic beer style was first brewed by monks in the Middle Ages in order to fortify themselves during their fasting. A generous amount of malt goes into every bottle of smooth, rich Taybeh Dark Beer. A Lebanese pétillant naturel! Pet-nats are wines bottled before fermentation finishes, which gives a moderate fizziness to the wines.
