This beer is a special release just for Nowruz (the Persian New Year), which falls on March 20th. Made with traditional ingredients that are meaningful to Nowruz to brew this beer – apples, sumac and wheat. This beer was dry hopped with Mosaic hops and it’s a New England style IPA – super hazy, juicy, and refreshing. ABV is right at 6.5%. This is a one-time drop for New Day IPA and it will continue to be our annual release for Nowruz. The cans were designed by a young Iranian woman who lives in D.C., and it’s a very symbolic label specific to the New Year

Pouring a soft cloudy pink, this gose was brewed with close to 1lb of tart cherries per gallon. The cured sumac was sourced from a single farm in Gaziantep, Turkey and adds tasting notes of sour cherry, salt & vinegar and sunny acidity. Brewed with Persian blue salt from Northern city of Semnan, Iran the end result is a tart, bright, refreshing gose – the perfect anytime beer. 12oz can, 4.6% abv.

Vouni Panayia's Plakota is a blend of Maratheftiko and Ntopio Mavro. Maratheftiko is known as the most noble Cypriot varietal, producing rich wines with soft tannins and flavors of cherries and dark chocolate. Ntopio Mavro producers light red wines with lively red-fruit and floral notes. Blended together in Plakota, they produce a wonderfully concentrated, soft and round wine with flavors of cherry, raspberry, blackberry and plum with a persistent finish.

The Chateau Musar White 2006 is an immensely appealing honey color with a nose and palate of orange blossom, honey, toasted bread, almonds and basil. A very well-balanced wine with good fresh lemon acidity and a long finish of citrus leaves, vanilla and honey. The style is reminiscent of a dry Sauternes or a mature white Graves: rich and intensely zesty, with very complex, long-lasting flavors.
Elegant and discrete, our Obeideh has a nose of white flowers, night-blooming jasmine and honeysuckle. The mouth is fresh and citrusy with hints of bitter almonds and honey."
This vintage is the fruit of grapevines exposed to optimal warmth during the day and breathing sea air at night, resulting in a Syrah true to its soil, dense and light at once with a lingering finish of fresh tannins. A very rich and complex wine with a strong and deep structure.
